A couple times I have done some thing called the fasting-mimicking diet; it seems similar to what you described. I lost a lot of weight too, and every single bit of it came back the minute I started eating even remotely how I had previously eaten. But if you feel you picked up some healthy habits, maybe it was an overall good for you. Bet you most of those 12 pounds will come back within a year, though.
