I also realized in my 20s that the expectations of the society are bullshit. I decided to never have children, so that if I decided independence and freedom was more important to me than income, I could just live in my car and not have to subject any smaller humans to my choices. I have had a couple 9 to 5 jobs in my life, they do suck. They suck a lot. I’m past the point where I have to do that. I now own my own business and I work on what and when I want to.
