I am not convinced this isn’t satire, but assuming it isn’t, put yourself in your cleaning lady’s shoes. You told her you can’t afford to pay her, therefore she is no longer your employee. So she’s supposed to put in free emotional labor listening to her old boss whine about how terrible her life is? Even if your life genuinely is terrible, that’s not her problem. One of the things I hate the most is having to listen to someone whine and complain about how terrible their life is when I don’t really like them in the first place. Since that some thing you seem to want to do, perhaps you should put yourself in therapy? You seem to be able to afford to do that for your daughter even though money is tight and you can’t afford food.
