I have also decided not to have kids, but my article about it, if I wrote it, would be pretty short: I don’t want to. There is really no reason to have kids unless you really, really want them, at least in the United States, because life is a lot harder with them for a myriad of reasons and getting assistance in hard times is very difficult. My cats fulfill my need to have a small creature to cuddle with, but I don’t have to hire a babysitter every time I leave the house for cats!
