I noticed there’s a lot of faceless responders to this article who seem to be personally offended about the Amazon driver’s position on unions. Frankly I agree with him. I used to be pro-union until they started pushing laws that will destroy my small business (see: The PROACT) then I realized that they haven’t done anything of consequence in about 50 years and they have become just another special interest. They want to force everyone to become employees (as opposed to freelancers or small business owners) so that they will have more members so that they will have more deals so that they can lobby Congress for ways to get more union members. There’s a reason the Amazon employees in Bessemer voted overwhelmingly not to unionize.
