I think you need to be a little more clear that you are describing what works for *you*, not what universally works for everyone. I have been counting calories for the past 10 years or so and I expect to do it for the rest of my life. It works for me. However, when I tried time- restricted eating, I got painful cramping and diarrhea every time I broke my fast. I understand that for some people it works great, but I’m not willing to put up with that kind of pain on a daily basis.
