I walk every day. I don’t count steps, but I do try to walk for at least 40 minutes and work up a light sweat. (so either I walk briskly or I walk up inclines or sometimes both). I’ve lost 70 pounds over four years doing not much more activity than that. I know weight training is important and so I have incorporated that occasionally, but usually I’ll do it for a couple weeks and then I’ll lose interest. I like yoga a lot, but I’ve never done that more than maybe three times a month. Walking is my primary exercise because I enjoy it. And yes it is exercise.
