Just for a different perspective… when she married her first husband, you and your husband were judging her choice and you think she didn’t know, but I bet she did. She might’ve been humiliated when she needed your help. She might’ve felt that you thought you were better than her. Now that roles are reversed, she may feel schadenfreude. Probably you will both be better off without each other in your lives.
