OK now that I’ve read all the comments, I have more to say: many people are suggesting that your husband might be depressed. But you know what, we are in a pandemic: Who isn’t at least a little depressed? Your husband acts the way many husbands do, and it’s because they think they can get away with it. They assume that if they don’t do something, you will, and they’re right. I bet he grew up with a mom who did did all the housework and child care. It’s normal in his mind that you do everything, and that’s always the normal he’s going to instinctively return to.
