People ask me this all the time and it’s a little hard to answer, because I made so many lifestyle changes and I’m not sure which ones made the biggest difference. I walk or work out every day, and I count my calories and macros. I maximize protein and fiber (ideally from fresh fruits and veggies), and I minimize sugar. I also take a variety of supplements, but I don’t think any of them are a magic bullet. But cooking for myself, and taking the hour or so per day to be physically active, and spending time tracking what I just ate, and weighing my food: that all takes time that a lot of working poor don’t have.
