Personally? Unemployment stopped paying. I have to work. I’ve had some people in my life accuse me of acting like the pandemic is over because I started going to yoga again — In a large room with very few women with everyone wearing masks. I’ve been singing in choir again, in masks (which is pretty freaking miserable, but that’s what they pay me for). I went to Disneyland. Following all the mask rules the whole time. I haven’t gone to a movie theater, but I did go to a couple outdoor operas. I’ve eaten at restaurants in the past few weeks, only ever outdoors. i’ve flown several times this year. I’m very healthy, I’m vaccinated, I don’t believe my life is at risk and I don’t spend time with anyone whose life would be at risk if they caught Covid from me, and since I have to be outside my home working anyway, I might as well have a few pleasures if that’s OK with you.
