This is inspiring! However, I wonder if you are aware of the PROACT and what it could do to your career? Unions have a lot of money that they use to lobby politicians and they don’t want people working as freelancers; their belief is that the only way to be happy is with a good union job, and that ALL freelancers are being taken advantage of by their clients. If the PROACT passes, all your clients might have to make you a W-2 employee. You may want to research this potential law as it’s only five or six votes short of being able to pass the Senate; it has already passed in the House.
