This is refreshingly essentially true to my experience. A lot of people are trying to muddle the issue with science facts that are probably true but I have lost about 70 pounds over the past four years doing basically what the author of this article said: I knew I had to make permanent lifestyle changes that had to be sustainable, so they had to be enjoyable. It’s almost funny how people in the comments are angry at you for not taking in the past 20 years of scientific studies about weight loss into account when you describe what works. If it works, it works. And it’s pretty clear that it worked for you and essentially what you described in this article has worked for me, too.
