This is the one thing in your article I disagree with so I clicked the link to see what was said about it. And what was said about it was that it *can* be bad for your mental health depending on who you are and how much stress or anxiety you associate with counting calories. I’ve made it a part of my life. I have tracked all my calories every day for the past almost 600 days and I really don’t see any drawbacks besides the time associated with actually weighing and measuring and logging, but a lot of that is second nature now. I understand many people, including possibly most people, don’t see it this way, but no weight loss program is effective for me if it doesn’t include some kind of calorie counting/ tracking. They might be effective in the short term, but I am looking for a long-term solution.
