Yeah, this is what I have discovered as well. The lifestyle changes have to be permanent or any changes will not be permanent, therefore lifestyle changes have to be reasonable and sustainable. I think what that means exactly varies from person to person, though. I have friends who don’t eat gluten or dairy and that works for them. I’d sooner drop dead, LOL. But I can weigh food and count calories like a champ and that’s what I’ll be doing the rest of my life, and I know a lot of people can’t do that, or think they can’t. But it works for me. (I lost 50 pounds as of three years ago and have kept it off)
