You make some really good points. i’m sure the intuitive eating crowd will come after you, but you’re right, it doesn’t work either. And you’re also right that once you start tracking, you can’t stop, or you will gain weight. i’ve lost 70 pounds and I expect to be tracking calories the rest of my life, and that’s a pain in the ass I’m not gonna lie, but it’s pretty well ingrained after doing it for the past 10 years - and my knees feel a heck of a lot better.
