You’re strangely focused on yourself here. I don’t say that to be critical, but to be helpful: Focus on your son. Give him love and support and honesty. When you don’t know what to say, tell him you don’t know what to say, but you love him and support him anyway. if you want to be proactive, you could read books about being a parent of an LGBTQ teenager. I don’t know of any offhand, but I am sure they’re out there.
